Topic: Help students help each other: implementing peer assessment in the classroom
About: Do you want students to receive plentiful and diverse feedback on their work, but are worried that you might not have the bandwidth as the instructor? Tapping into the helping hands within your classroom may be the solution! Peer assessment refers to a wide range of activities in which students evaluate and provide feedback on the work of their peers. It is a great way to engage your students and build community. In this workshop, we will discuss the benefits and challenges of peer assessment and how to scaffold such an activity. By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped with the tools to implement peer assessment in your classroom.
There will be no remote attendance offered for this event.
