Creative Thinking in Teaching and Learning
Nathalie Vladis, PhD
Quantitative Curriculum Fellow
Creativity is an essential ability as we adapt to a continually changing teaching and learning environment. While this is a topic of study growing in popularity, it isn't easy to find tangible strategies to encourage creative thinking in the classroom. In this workshop, we explore the potential of using concepts from the Creative Cognition framework in Higher Education using case studies and example from the area of Information Visualization. Participants are encouraged to bring a concept (from any subject) they are interested in teaching.
