Better Teaching Through Observations

A teaching observation is a powerful learning tool, both for the observer and their subject. In this workshop we will discuss the many possible goals of teaching observations, identify the approaches that best suit these goals, and use hands-on practice to get comfortable recording and delivering feedback. Instructors at all levels are welcome, from TAs to faculty course directors.
