Applying Growth Mindset in the Classroom
Jelena Patrnogic, PhD
Curriculum Fellow, Landry Cancer Biology Consortium
How can we motivate students when they often struggle to motivate themselves? How can we help them achieve their goals? A growth mindset, simply put, is the belief we can develop our abilities. In this workshop we will discuss different ways we can use the growth mindset framework as an instructional tool we can implement in our teaching approaches to help students understand the value of effort in learning.
