Title: Trauma informed classroom instruction 

About: Trauma-informed pedagogy asks us to keep in mind these experiences as we shape our teaching to create the conditions for success, both in person and in virtual classes. In this presentation Dr. Aimee Hollander will present the basic  principles of trauma-informed classroom instruction and provide opprotunity to practice grounding exercises. Additionally,  she will share her experience of teaching after a major traumatic community event at an undergraduate campus and the feedback received from students.
