Nikki Frazer
Nikki Frazer is the Curriculum Fellow for the Graduate Program in Neurobiology. Nikki received her Bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and Spanish at Vanderbilt University and completed her PhD in Neuroscience in 2023 also at Vanderbilt University. Her dissertation focused on the role of Gremlin2, a BMP inhibitor, in hippocampal neurogenesis and associated neurological disorders. Her main passion lies in education, and she has helped teach and create various classes including Introduction to Neuroscience, Biological Bases of Mental Disorders, and Neurogastronomy, as well as receiving her Certificate in College Teaching. She aims to implement the best evidence-based pedagogical practices within the HMS Program in Neuroscience (PiN).
